The EAS Electronic Article Surveillance system detects all items passing through the detection door installed at the entrance. If a product with an anti-theft label/tag is detected, the EAS system will sound an alarm, reminding that the product has been taken away without payment. The frequency of anti-theft labels needs to be consistent with the frequency of the anti-theft system. When customers pay the bill, the store staff can use a lock opener or decoder to remove the anti-theft label from the product, avoiding alarms generated by the Electronic Article Surveillance system after checkout.
