Passenger Counter is a passenger counting system developed specifically for public transportation systems or smart cities. It is installed on top of public transportation vehicles such as buses, ships, high-speed trains, and airplanes. When passengers get on and off, the Passenger Counter will count the number and time of all passengers. The obtained data will be uploaded to servers or designated places by customers through the network. This data will provide necessary basis for decision-making by the public transportation department, such as increasing or decreasing bus stops, increasing or decreasing bus schedules, increasing or decreasing crew members, etc. It can also be used to compare revenue and verify drivers or crew members. The Passenger counter Controller can perform GPS / BeiDou dual satellite signal positioning, and is used in conjunction with 3D cameras to combine passenger flow information with stations. Through 4G network, the real-time statistics of the number of passengers getting on and off at each station are uploaded to the cloud platform, automatically generating class passenger flow reports and real-time information on the number of passengers on the current route. The Controller has a built-in large capacity cache space, which can continuously maintain 3000 cache records in the event of network disconnection. When the GPS signal is weak, the device can perform inertial simulation and generate station records based on the station sequence and station time interval.

The binocular bus passenger counter adopts binocular deep vision technology to provide a high-precision public transportation bus passenger flow statistics solution.
