The HPCM588 AI passenger counter is an automatic system designed to count passengers as they board and alight from buses. It is developed using image analysis technology and neural network-based deep learning algorithms, and is made up of a data box and a camera. The AI passenger counting camera is mounted at the top of each bus door, where it captures real-time images by facing straight downward. These images are sent via cable to the data box (Controller) for processing, allowing the system to accurately identify how many passengers board or alight at each individual door. Depending on specific user needs, the system can also provide real-time counts of the current number of passengers on the bus. The data box comes with built-in GPS and 4G transmission capabilities, enabling it to directly upload statistical data to the cloud or share data with third-party systems through its communication interfaces.
