The earliest contact with Irish client Daniel was on December 3, 2020, when they first received an inquiry from our company's website. Finally, we successfully answered all their technical software and other questions, and successfully signed the contract.
The entire implementation process was also very smooth, from initial contact to final completion, taking only one and a half months. The customer was very satisfied with the landing of the project and expressed that they would gradually replace all paper labels of other stores with our electronic shelf labels.
On May 21, 2022, we received a call from a customer, they have 53 digital chain stores in China, including those at airports and high-speed rail stations, and they require us to provide a complete one-stop solution.
After a detailed understanding of the customer's store area, distribution location in China, in store network environment, internal structure of the store, number of SKUs in the store, and so on, we provide the following solution.
● According to the different products of each store, 30 HA1020W white electronic shelf labels are equipped and placed on the desktop to display products such as mobile phones. Due to the large display content required by customers, a larger screen is chosen. Small components such as mobile phone accessories are equipped with relatively small electronic shelf labels, so each store has selected 80 HA266W white electronic shelf labels to be used together with display hooks.
● Equip 1-2 Access points according to the internal structure of each store.
● The software is installed in the server of the Beijing headquarters, and pricing can be directly modified by the headquarters. At the same time, the store staff in the branch can also have the authority to make modifications.
● All installation accessories are installed in place.
● The customer needs to connect with the POS system, and we have provided the SDK to the customer. Under the guidance of our technical personnel, the customer's technical personnel successfully connected.
● Due to their strong design ability, the customer designed a product display template themselves.
Throughout the implementation process of the project, everything went smoothly. However, due to the tedious work involved in connecting with the POS system, it took a bit more time, but ultimately the connection was completed. From the beginning of discussing this project to the final implementation, it took more than 2 months. The customer was also very satisfied and promised to use the same electronic shelf labels for new stores in the future, and to integrate them into the headquarters' electronic shelf label management system.
On November 24, 2021, we received an inquiry from a Slovak customer who needed electronic shelf labels to be used in their food store, and gradually replaced paper labels with electronic shelf labels in other stores.
We have provided a detailed understanding of the overall store situation of the customer, such as the required electronic shelf labels (type, size, etc.), store area/decoration situation/SKU quantity/amount of content to be displayed, etc. In addition, we also inquired about the client's server situation, whether it is necessary to interface with other POS and other software (such as layout design, interfaces, etc.), as well as communication interface/gateway solutions, suspension/installation, integration interfaces, and other information. After a detailed understanding, we reached a decision to conduct sample testing first and then proceed with overall installation.
Just when we thought everything was going smoothly, the customer pointed out that the price of ESL products was too high. In fact, this is a common question that customers often ask because compared to traditional paper labels, the price of electronic shelf labels is indeed much higher. Just as negotiations reached a deadlock, the R&D department developed the latest 2.4GHz ESL product. Unlike the old 433mHz and the first generation 2.4GHz ESL products, the new generation 2.4GHz ESL product has many advantages and further reduces costs.
So we took this opportunity to quickly recommend our ESL product to this customer, who also expressed strong interest in our latest generation of 2.4GHz ESL products. We also sent the latest information, pictures, quotations, etc. to the customer's team in a timely manner. However, the customer still felt that our quotation was higher than their market perception price. After further research, we found that the acceptance of ESL product prices in the Slovak market was not as low as the customer said. In order to dispel the customer's concerns, we held a video conference with the customer again, sent our research report to the customer, and explained the cost components of ESL products in great detail to the customer. The use of ESL products will bring him investment returns in the future, and so on.
After four months of uninterrupted negotiations, the customer was ultimately convinced by our professionalism, service, and pricing. Without purchasing samples, they directly purchased a trial order for the first store's ESL project, totaling 4000pcs HA213W, as well as some Access Points and accessories. Currently, the store is running very smoothly, and negotiations with the customer are underway for the installation of all stores.
